Dennis was larger than life and didn't suffer fools. He was a highly respected chartered accountant and woe betide the house group committee when Denis was analysing the the service charge account.
He was the first to ask a question and the first to call out "I can't hear you", even across the auditorium of the Barbican Centre.
He will be sadly missed.
