The Barbican Centre has resubmitted the planning application for the removal of the 4Bs sign at the end of Defoe place and its replacement with a new lit sign.

The proposal seems identical to the earlier one, save for the limited hours of illumination, now between 9AM and 8PM.
This does not obviate the barbaric removal of an Icon sign to meet this week's style guidelines. Further the Barbican Centre is not to be trusted. the management of the Centre will almost certainly claim in a few years that these operating hours are impractical.
Please object, using the link above and make sure that your comment is noted as an objection. Your House Group Committee unanimously agreed to object to the proposal at its meeting on 10 October.
You need to object again, even if you objected to the earlier application.
